Advanced Motion 3d SystemThe elite 3D golf analysis system of GOLF Medical Clinics golf lab (AMM-3D) allows incorporation of the latest technology into the field of golf sports medicine.
Electromagnetic sensors are placed on the body in key positions and then are digitally synchronized with Titleist Performance Institute 3D software. The golfer is then represented in detailed robotic form, allowing careful recording and analysis of 6 degrees of motion.
At GOLF Medical Clinics our belief is to first focus on the core, from the pelvis to the shoulders, in achieving optimal golf performance. The core controls the swing and appropriate position, swing plane, and timed acceleration of the pelvis and shoulders are the basis of any efficient swing. Our 3D system is one of the few available to the public that will record 6 degrees of motion, giving the information needed to make decisions in all of these areas.
Golf injuries are commonly due to overuse injuries related to faulty golf swing mechanics. Low back pain can be due to excessive spine extension on the back swing. Lead shoulder pain can be due to early excessive use of the arms to generate power. These are examples of swing faults that can be addressed as part of the treatment program for our Option One clients seeking care for an injury.
The information, though technically advanced, is concisely formatted into an easily understood report. Individual databases are formed that will allow us to precisely note improvements or any possible decline in the golf swing mechanics on follow-up evaluations.
